Graphic Design students have just completed a client initiated project with Neil McDonald from Ostreet- ostreet.co.uk, a graphic design agency based in the West End of Glasgow with the 2nd year Illustrators.
The students designed a label for Ostreet’s bespoke, limited edition beer that they will serve tomorrow at their Beer X event, a bimonthly collaborative cultural event that they host- www.beertimes.net. The strongest designs from the class have been selected and printed on labels that will adorn the ‘Profondo Rosso’, a bourbon oaked cherry saison beer. Designs that offer an interesting perception on collaboration, open dialogue and provoke discussion, and/ or take into account flavours and the brewing process have been selected.
Winners are: Kirsty Louise Ferguson, Rebecca Cochrane, Martin Canon and Jodi Jennings.
